Scary Experience this Morning

I still go to school on a pretty much daily basis. This morning I was sitting in class and all of a sudden my hearing got muffled, the whole room went black, and i was feeling extremely nauseous and sweating like crazy. I had gotten up and left the room and had to rush to the bathroom and vomited. I know it's prob just morning sickness, but this was the worst EVER. I had eaten this morning before going to class and I was nibbling on food while in class. I was scared that I was going to faint and pass out on the floor. HELP ME! What can I do so this DOESNT happen again?! I thought maybe I was just dehydrated so I tried drinking and that only made it worse... Idk what to do or what it is... If it happens again should I go to the hospital? Or should I just treat it like any other morning sickness? Because now this is interfering with my school work and I really need to get it done!!

I would go in as soon as you can. Call your doctor and ask when you can be seen. It could be blood pressure or something. Ya never know! Good luck!

I had ginger ale and it didnt do anything for me. I was drinking Sierra Mist for a while and that helped here and there. But right now it seems like I can drink heavier things and that will stay down, like milk and milkshakes. I will try some lemonade next b/c i heard that lemons can also help with nausea. Thank you :D

Thanks! What about drinking? Every time I'd drink something it would either make me EXTREMELY nauseous or come right back up... I got to drink a milkshake and that was fine, but those can get kind of expensive lol.

If its low blood pressure wear support hose to regulate blood pressure.  Also eat a snack every two hours for blood sugar.

I had that happen when I was pregnant at 5 months, 6 years ago. Except I DID faint. It happened while I was standing in line at Tim Hortons. Luckily there was someone right there to catch me before I hit the floor. And also lucky for me there happened to be a nurse there that came over and was checking my vitals when I woke up laying on the floor.

I tell ya, that was the scariest thing ever!

They called an ambulance and I went to the hospital. They thought it was low blood pressure. Which is very common in pregnancy because you have so much more blood going through your body

Could also be low blood sugar. At any rate, you should see your doctor if you haven't done so to get checked out.

I was lucky that was the one and only time it happened. Hopefully it doesn't happen to you again because it's very scary.

Good luck to you
