Sex during Pregnancy
Hello everyone. I am a frist time mom and was curious after reading another persons post about something, and it got me concerned. Please do not laugh at me or use negative comments, because this is a question I truely dont know.
I understand that Semen can help soften the cervix for a pregnant women, Which can eventually contribute to labor. I am currently 12 weeks pregnant, and my husband and I have have sex occasionally and he ejaculates inside me. Should I be concerned that this will soften my cervix and later in the trimesters have troubles.

I don't think so, unless your doctor tells you otherwise. I'm pretty sure about 99% of us have sex nd my bf wouldn't have it any other way. A habit he's going to have to kick after baby comes! Lol if you have a healthy pregnancy your body won't do anything it isn't supposed to do (:
Your good mommy! It only softens cervix after you have dialated or lost your mucus plug baby is completly safe!
No Hun, that only helps once your mucus plug has been expelled, which only happens in the last 5 weeks of pregnancy. It's completely safe to have unprotected monogamous sex with the father of your child unless the doctor tells you otherwise. :)
