Sex is painful during ovulation has anyone else felt like this?

When i have sex with my partner like today as i am ovulating, when he penetrates inside me it can be quite painful but afterwards i feel fine.  Has anyone else ever experienced this?  I read that endometriosis can cause this but i've not been tetsed for anything like that yet i'm hoping i don't have any problems in conceiving.  I'm waiting until after July for my partner to have some tests done if we haven't conceived by then please help!!!

I don't think so ... I have sex at least 5 x a week with my husband and I have been having horrible pain with sex during ovulation.... one would think that if lack of sex.makes it worse then lots of sex would make ur better...right?.... not the case with me... good luck!

can lack of sex contribute to ovulation pains?
am male and traveled out of the country for some time not up to 10months and my partner lives in my home country.

she just told me that she met with the doctor concerning her ovulation pains and the doctor advised her to have sex ASAP  that it was do to lack of sex.

though i do not know if she has done it or not.
But my question is, can lack of sex contribute to ovulation pains? because she is considering it in my absence.

Thanks very much trying to convince my partner there is nothing wrong with him is not working at the moment so if i'm not pregnant this month i think he's going for tests though he's dreading it.  There's no way i could have missed my ovulation this month i'm just praying we've done it!!!

I'm sure it's just b/c you're ovulating. I had the same problem with my bowl movements. They are very painful but only when I ovulated and now that I'm pregnant. If it keeps happening, I suggest you talk to your doctor. I'm sure you'll be able to concieve!!!

It hurts more when my partner hits my cervix, Without having intercourse i feel fine its just like the odd cramping and stretching.  When i need a #2 and you have to push soz TMI this can also be a bit sore as i'm pushing down on the lower abdomen.

Thanks very much for all your comments they have all helped in a way.  I'm just hoping over the next 2 months to get my BFP otherwise my partner will get tested if he's fine then i will go for further tests to see if anything is wrong.  Best of luck to all of you women for the next 9 months of pregnancy or ttc!!!

Does it hurt when you are ovulating even if you are not having sex?  I have endometriosis and it hurts when I ovulate but it is really really painful not just when having sex but anytime during ovulation.  Now, they say that it is harder to get pregnant when you have endometriosis but this is not necessarily true.  It only took me 1 month to get pregnant even though I have endo.  So, really it just all depends on how your body reacts and fertility issues, if any.  Good Luck to you!

Is your partner hitting your cervix, or does it hurts in your uterus area?

Thanks. My morning sickness is getting worst, but no vomitting yet. Well yours could just ovulation pain. I heard of other people saying they had pain during ovulation. My pain was terrible. Any movement, any sneeze, even walking made me cry. It was the worst pain, but well worth it!! I had to take motrin to help with the pain. About 11 days later, my symptoms were back, but just not as painful. I had an u/s and it should a lot of fluid build up in my abdomen which caused the pain. You should go to the doctor's and tell them to do an u/s, maybe you just have fluid build up.

Just during ovulation, i don't have it every month certain sexual positions we can't do as it can be to sore others are fine as long as my partner doesn't penetrate to hard.  He thinks he may have semen issues, i keep thinking of endometriosis though i'm not sure.  I had swabs, smears and blood tests done all came back clear.  At the moment i've got cramp more to my left hip and in my back i just really hope we have done it this month.  I couldn't handle it if something was found to be wrong with one of us!!!

Congratulations on your pregnancy i hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months!!

I always have pain during ovulation, but mine is fertility med's related. I have been on fertility med's since July of last year and for every cycle I had terrible pain that prevented me to have sex. I was the most painful thing. I finally got pregnant and I am 6 weeks along. Do you get this pain any other time or just during ovulation?
