Yeah, I just have a really hard time being on my feet for those long periods of time. I also have had back problems throughout my pregnancy so that adds pain to the mixture. Like I said, I will most likely quit at 30 weeks.
5 days a week, it got really hard mid pregnancy then it got easier i have my days but ill be soooo bored if i quit
I don't know how you do it. How often do you work?
Im 35wks2days still waiting tables probably wont stop until 39 if shes not here yet
@lulonke I heard that it's illegal for them to even ask you if you are pregnant or not. I came out and told them my second day of work. I brought it up casually as I was filling out tax information acting like I had a question about claiming my child. She was very surprised but said congrats. The next day when I came into work everyone knew, so I know she said something to the other managers and servers (which is kinda uncomfortable). I really don't feel bad at all for not telling them initially because honestly it shouldn't matter or not if I am pregnant, I am going to work hard either way. I am just excited to be able to relax for once in my pregnancy and not worry about working at all.
Your story is very similar to mine my angel, they hired me not knowing i was preg n once i was in i didn't have the guts to tell my managers that i'm preg,m belly started to show when i was 6 months and when i was 7mnths they decided to sit me down n ask me if am i preg,i didn't deny it,they had no right to fire me for that, they gave me my full four month maternity leave and it starts on the 22 of this month(this coming wednesday).I CANT WAIT! I'm 36 weeks already
Lol I promised myself that I will never go back into the service industry after this baby is born. I just can't handle the inconsistency of it all. I just started this new serving job as a second job and they hired me not knowing that I am pregnant but now everyone there knows and I can tell that they're pissed about it. But at this point now that I'm hired they can't fire me because that would obviously be discrimination. They're obviously anticipating me quitting and since I just started I really don't think that I'm burning any bridges.
Depends on your managers and if you are trying to go back after
Omg I am probably going to quit by 30 weeks. Is that bad?
Im 31 weeks im so exhuasted ready for my leave but by law they won't put you off till 36 weeks so ill have to quit if I wanna stop working
