Short cervix concerns? 16 wks 4 days..

I went to urgent care last night due to severe one-sided cramps. While I was there, they did all the usual stuff, fetal heartbeat, ultrasound, pelvic exam, etc. Well during the exam and ultrasound, she said my cervix was a little short for 16 weeks, at 2.7 cm. I thought the average for where I am was 4cm, but didn't find out my measurements until I read my discharge papers at home. I don't see my doctor for a little over a week.
Is this something I should be concerned about?

Haha my phone didn't load the comments, oops. Thank you for your input! I'm just a little concerned with it being so early and all.

I would call your doctor and tell them what the papers said. I found out I had a short cervix at 23 weeks it's 2.1 cm my dr gave me progesterone pills that I have to put up there twice a day to help my cervix.

I'm honestly not sure. Maybe call your Dr first thing Monday morning to get in sooner? Or just speak with her on the phone about your measurements and ask her what the norm would be.
