I was Just wondering I'm about to be 9 weeks and my first doc app is next week , are they going to do a vaginal ultrasound or the one on your tummy ??

Mine was stomach. My doctor told me it depends on your size because the vaginal they only do to get a better picture, which is hard to get if you are heavier from a stomach ultrasound.

And we were also able to see the baby and the heart beat. Was amazing

I got a stomach ultrasound at 8 weeks so just depends on what doctor

I had my first appointment at 8 and a half weeks, and my doctor was able to just do an abdominal ultrasound instead of a vaginal one

They will do a vaginal ultrasound the baby is very tiny still. Congratulations!
