Sleeping arrangements.

The plan is to get my son (16mnth) in a toddler bed, and keep new baby out of the bed as well. My question is what is the best cost and space efficient way to do this? I was just thinking a toddler bed for him and the pack n play for new baby. But my mom says I should get convertible crib? What was your experience, or opinion?

I'm just using the same crib my daughter is in when this little one gets big enough and I'm borrowing a cradle from my mom. So really I spent twenty bucks to change sleeping arrangements.

So get him a toddler bed and convertible crib for new baby,  and you will also have a bassinet? I think that's it, I'm more comfortable putting newborn in bassinet next to us. Ugh I guess buy all three! Lol

We have a convertible crib that my daughter sleeps in currently. I just picked up a used toddler bed for twenty bucks and we're going to try to transition her sometime in the next month. Then we'll use the crib for the baby when baby is a couple months old. Until then, baby will sleep in the bed with us or in a cradle next to the bed. My daughter is also sixteen months and I'm due in October.
