I've Been really restless lately. My body is exhausted & so are my eyes but they just won't stay shut. I haven't slept in 3days & I'm cranky. So I'm wondering if sleeping pills are safe during pregnancy???

Yeah you can't take melatonin while pregnant. I used to take 10mg a night for prevention of cluster headaches and I had to stop.

Melatonin even though produced by the body naturally is not recommended while pregnant I had this same problem all throughout my first trimester and benadryl is all my Dr said I could take but the zzzquil is the exact same medication so it is fine too

You could take a melatonin supplement. The mind secretes it naturally, so there's no harm in giving your body a boost when it's having trouble producing it.
