Belly Button Piercing

Is anyone else pregnant and have their belly button pierced or do I need to take it out. I'm 16+5 and my stomach is starting to grow now. Would it affect me or the baby? Thanks in advance

I just took mine out at 36 weeks it was just getting a little itchy around the piercing hole. You can go on body candy .com and get prego ones!

Oh wow. I really like my piercing and don't wanna take it out especially if its going to make a mark. Ugh! Lol

Thanks a lot ladies. I have a appt on the 28th, I'll be 18weeks and I found out the gender :) I will ask my doctor then. So I Guess I'll get the rubber one to put in unless my doc tells me otherwise. Thanks again. You all are awesome

I took mine out at about 8weeks with my son and I still ended up with the X mark on my belly lol. I was able to put it back in after just fine though. :)

I am 11 Weeks and Still have mine in, My dr. told me that I dont need to take it out unless It becomes uncomfortable since your belly will get bigger. They do have Pregnancy belly rings you can wear. However I have heard of other Moms state that they left theirs in ( only took it out when needed) and it left some big stretches and looked weird afterwards. Hope this helps.

With my first, I was told to remove mine :( Not that its bad for the baby but it could cause the skin its pierced through to start to receed or something and leave a nasty scar. Congrats though and good luck :)

some people dont have to take out their peircings. other people do. some people get the rubber peircing to keep the hole open....i took mine out at around 23weeks bc it was stretching.

I left mine in with my first eventually had to take it out cuz it stretched so bad and got tight right on the piercing it started to get caught on shirts. I've never put it back in left an X shaped stretch mark on the top of my navel now it just looks silly lol. I'm not a big person to start with that's just where it got the biggest around my navel
