It really *****, I used to wake up everynight at 2 like clockwork with bad heartburn. It was probably the worst part of pregnancy for me. Good luck though with yours :)
Thank you so much. & im going to call him tomorrow and hopefully get in b4 next friday. Ive been having to go out to the couch & lay sometimes it helps, sometimes not so much (like tonight) but i guess that could be cuz lil boy so active tonight...
I've read that all over the counter and prescription antacids are considered safe during pregnancy even high risk (except alka seltzer and aspirin products)
I don't know, id wait and see what your new doctor thinks, but until then you can try milk ive heard that helps, and also you can try sleeping in more of an upright position.
Im in the process of switching drs right now bcuz of my old dr giving me meds that im allergic to (while i was in hosp). Can theu perscribe medicine like that if ur high risk? I mean i dont see why not but ive already gone into labor 3 times & medicine kinda scares me.
You can talk to your doctor about prescribing you something. That's what I had to do when it got really bad, she gave me nexium which you take once a day before you eat and it blocks the acid in your stomach before you get heartburn so it prevents it, and it has worked really well for me.
