That happen to me with my first pregnancy. I unfortunately had an early miscarriage. It's best if you go get checked out as soon as you can. Just to make sure you and your little one are ok.

I too had mild cramping and brown blood up until about 12 weeks. I am now 21 weeks, hope this helps.

Sometimes your body can shed a little blood around the time that your period would have been due. Its is wow common for this to happen up until around 12 weeks. Unless you have fresh blood I wouldn't try panic too much. Of course,  for peace of mine you can hey checked out, but at 4+3 they're isn't much to be done. I only say this as the fetal pole doesn't even have a heartbeat at this stage,  so a scan will confirm nothing,  other than whether or not the baby is in your womb or is ectopic.
I had old brown discharge before 6 weeks,  which transpired to be the remnants from implantation bleeding.  I'm 34+3 weeks now;  so not all signs of new or old blood signify a miscarriage
