Pregnant, 7 weeks and here are my details in point form, please tell me if you think this should be cause for concern:
- 7 weeks pregnant 4 months after miscarriage
- intermittent spotting/staining or discharge? for 1 week as of today
- spot/discharge is anywhere from light brown to very light pink (but mostly brownish), NEVER red
- texture varies from thin and watery, to kind of thick with clear "globs", to creamy
- no severe cramping (very mild and intermittent but I am told that's to be expected)
I don't have an appointment until next Wednesday (with a nurse practitioner), and seeing this discharge is scary for me as my husband and I want this baby very much. Is this kind of discharge normal for 7 weeks? How long should I expect it?
I had a miscarriage in January at 7 wk 1 d, it began with lower back pain (much like pre-AF) in the middle of the night. By 7am that morning, I went to the bathroom and there was redish pink blood when I wiped so we went to ER, and by the time I had arrived there I had cramps exactly like my period cramps, and the blood had gone from spotting red to lots of dark red blood (almost black looking), it looked like my period. It progressed from spotting to period-like within a couple of hours. All of that being said, I am not worried that I am having a miscarriage righ now as this is nothing like my previous experience. But I am worried of a threatened miscarriage, or am I just being paranoid and worrying too much? Is this brown discharge normal for 7 weeks pregnancy?
