38 weeks yesterday I'm 1cm 40% effaced. Doc says if she doesn't come on her own he will induce me next week.

I haven't heard of pregnancy tea.. Where could I get that? I've been doing nipple stimulation and having some mild contractions

Have you tried drinking pregnancy tea I haven't tried it my self but my sister swears it helps soften her cervix so she can dilate

Try nipple stimulation. My doctor told me yesterday that since my milk has come in, not to stimulate because it can cause contractions, that cause dialation. (I am only 26 weeks) you take your palm firmly press breast, move it in circle for 15 minutes each nipple until an hour passes. She said it works well. I will be trying this and evening primrose oil when its time for me. She said that is also safe.

I was barley a fingertip from 38 weeks till I was induced at 40+4 and was still barley a fingertip then till my water finally broke and then only dilated to 3.5 cms after the doc broke my water the rest of the way and then I wouldn't dilate anymore . Being induced isn't really that bad . Just all depends on how you handle pain .
