You're not cramping or hurting are you? If not there's a possibility nothing is wrong at all, and even cramping could just be your stomach preparing to stretch. If you're worried I'd try to get a doctor's appt soon :)

Nope, no meds.

I just checked again (I've had my undies down more often than up this morning, I swear)

and there is a tiny bit more. I keep waiting for it to turn into the dreaded AF.

Brown spotting isn't a bad thing, as long as it's not red and clotting. Brown = Old blood, and sometimes that happens around the time of your period, or just randomly, doesn't mean anything horrible is in the works :).

Are you on any meds?  I spotted brown but was on prometrium- and that was a side effect of the meds...

I do have to agree with JoyRenee, but have you seen a doctor yet?

Brown blood is old blood. I've done a little research on this before and what I've come up with is this analogy:

A bird builds a nest much like your body builds the uterine lining for the fertilized egg. If there is any excess in your "nest" your body will get rid of it. In your case, the form of bleeding. Brown blood is okay. If it becomes bright red and clotty, then you should contact your doc.
