Finally had my baby this past Sunday, the 21st and I had to get a few stitches from where I tore while giving birth. Just wondering, is it supposed to burn when I pee? It seriously makes using the bathroom so terrible to the point where I don't even want to drink anything so I don't go as much because as soon as my urine touches them it stings so damn bad. Is this normal or should I call my doctor?

Yes, I use the bottle they gave me it just burns whenever pee slightly touches the stitches. They also just gave me some anti itch spray, nothing to really help healing go faster or anything sadly

Definitely use a squirt bottle with warm water. It helps, if you dont use it than yes it burns.

If you use the squeeze bottle as u pee its much better

Congrats! If it burns have you been using the bottle they gave you? It's like a squirt bottle and you fill it with warm water.

Congratulations! I wanted my daughter to come the 21st aswell since it was my birthday too but she is still hanging in there lol. I remember after I gave birth to my son I tore and got stitches too. It did burn a whole lot but the Dr had given me this foam like thing to keep the stitches from getting infected. Did you receive one too?
