I'm not going back to breastfeeding. It's too painful for me. So the blockage isn't gonna go away on its own? I've read to stay away from putting it under the hot water in the shower that that will just stimulate milk production? I'm trying the cabbage leaves and they really do feel good!
The size of the baby doesn't have anything to do with it..it all depends what you believe is best for baby..breast milk or formula
And also if it is a clogged duct and you do continue to bf..nurse on that side as much as you can..it will also help it
If you have a clogged duct it can be very painful.with my first I had one and ended up getting very sick with a temp of 104.to take care of it naturally get in the shower and run hot water over it.or lay in the bath where it can be in the water..I know how difficult it is to breastfeed for a ftm.with my second it was so painful my nipples were cracked and I got to the point I would cry every time from the pain..but if you do decide to stick with it..it does get easier.and in the long run trust me its so much cheaper.. Good luck
I stopped at 6 months and i had a hard lump at the top but just ignored it till it started to get way to painful i couldn't touch it. I went to the hospital and it ended up being an infection & it was full of puss so they drugged me up and drained it out. I felt so much better.
How many pounds was your baby if you don't mind me asking. My sis was 10lbs my mom lasted a week. I am consideration breastfeeding, but just wondering if size matters
No I stopped at a year thought if I got all milk out stop making I was fine but when I tried to breast feed the second baby I couldn't I cause a blockage and my nipples scared over check in with doctor for your best bet
