Stretch Marks

I've been reading on here people are saying that the stretch marks they got during pregnancy went away? Is it true that they go away? Because that makes no sense to me. How do you make them go away or make them less noticeable? Stretch marks are hereditary in my family.

Stretch marks are permanent ! They so lighten up with time but they are scars that come to stay. I have alot of stretch marks due to rapid weight gain and weight loss and with first pregnancy which I was too young and didn't take care of myself. ..Now I definitely take care of myself and with this current pregnancy im being twice as careful........i would recommend BIO OIL and African Shea Butter, helps big time, try it out.

They don't go away, but they lighten from red to a brown/tan color which blends in a lot more. I have tons of stretch marks from my first pregnancy, but they don't stand out as much as they did when I first got them.

My mum didn't have stretch marks not did my grandmother, when I out weight on before I was pregnant I had quite a few on my thighs then I lost the weight and used tonnes of bio oil which I swear by, I have a shower morning and evening and lather my self in baby oil in the shower and then I dry myself and put bio oil after the shower. A lot of my clients at work that have had babies swear by doing this and it worked for them.

It's all genetics. They won't go away but they can definitely fade as long as you keep them moisturized.

They never go away. They are scars so therefore they stay. They have creams and stuff to lighten them up

Palmers cocoa butter lotion and palmers tummy butter help prevent and fade them. I'm almost 36 weeks and only have 2 or 3 small one on my belly. Cant say the same for my poor bum tho. My mother has alot but I don't.
