Sugar test :(

Tomorrow i have to drink dat nasty s*** n hold it down for a hr ima be so hungry cant eat after 12 tonite dats one thing i hate bout bein pregnant

I had my glucose test at 28 weeks. I asked my doctor about fasting and he said to eat what I would normally eat. I drank the sugar water, wwaited an hour and then had my blood drawn. The mixture tasted awful.

I had mine today at 28 weeks, it wasn't that bad. The red one tasted like fruit punch just with a little extra sweetness. & michele no worries you have a little while before doing it, your supposed to have it done right around your 28th week! :)

Ugh I hate doing that test. I do mines Friday and Im not looking forward to it. Thank goodness we only do it once during our pregnancy.

How far along you have to be so they can do that sugar test? I don't remember.

I thought it tasted like orange crush just really flat and with an added two cups of sugar lol it burnt my thorat half way threw

All doctors are different some tell u to and some tell u not to Idk y but I have asked both the doctors in my office and they told me that

I was told to fast for 8 hours before going in for mine, and I have to stay there for 3 hours! So not looking forward to it on Friday =/

Yes u have to take it but u still have a while dats y they havent said anything about it

I had mine last week and it wasn't as bad as i thought just annoying having to wait and i hate needles so the blood work was stressful! Good Luck :)
