Sweet tea/ iced coffee

I know this is a dumb question but I luvvvv McDonald's sweet tea and ice coffee is it ok to have one each a day lol I know it's filled w sugar and caffeine but is it a no no during the first tri???

Also just a heads up I used to work at McDonald's and there are a lot of calories in those drinks its early in your pregnancy but you will really pack on the pounds later

Just try to limit yourself as much as you can but when you do drink them drink lots of water. Caffeine dehydrates your body so as long as you keep water or gatorade around you should be fine

You can have up to 200mg of caffeine a day. A caramel macchiato at starbucks has espresso, each shot has 75mg of caffeine. A grande and venti hot drink has 2 shots in each. A venti iced has 3 shots so its a little over. A cup of coffee has between 65-115mg of coffee. Soda has the least amount of caffeine, and teas. It is all debatible, but I have a cup of coffee every morning. I do cut a lot of sugar out though by using some sugar free products.

I'm 20 weeks and didn't find out I was pregnant till 13 weeks drank coffee etc the whole time and my baby is fine. I still have the occasional coffee and my Dr said to just limit my intake
