Some representatives that work for insurances are extremely rude. If you want information you have to know what you're asking & be very straight forward. Always write down the persons name so when they hang up on you, you call back & just say "hi can I speak to a supervisor" & tell the supervisor the persons name & what happened.
I work with a lot of patient insurances. usually you dont have to tell them you're pregnant. call your doctors office & ask them exactly what they want you to ask you're insurance & why. Then call your insurance again & say you're a member & you have some questions about pregnancy benefits because your pregnant & if that person can't help you then they can direct you to someone who can.
get a new doctor...your doctor sounds uneducated lol...why would insurance care? lol...it changes nothing...as soon as they see the prescription for Pre-natal vitamins, they already know your pregnant lol
Do you have horizon mercy? Because I have that and I never told them I was pregnant but I knew they knew because they sent me applications for when the baby is born he/she will be under my insurance. I never heard this happening either, is you doctor a clinic or private doctor?
I never heard of that..usually they find out from getting billed from youe obgyn
my doc said they wouldn't see me again if I don't tell them...
U don't need to call ur insurance company. I never told mine and nothing happened. I get bills from them still they didn't drop me or anything. I would bother calling them
