Thank god i'm not the only one.. i work my arse off (not anymore as i'm 4 days til due and can't do it anymore) to keep the house clean and within hours of my toddler and other half being home it's like a bomb site!" It's mentally exhausting because when he messes it up it's disrespecting my hard work.. know you're not alone, and it's normal, it just means you're human!
I'm a natural born clean freak lol,, and because I'm home all day long i really try to find things to do. I split my house into 5 sections,, my room the bathroom the kitchen dining room and living room. And clean 1 a night and make sure my dishes are done and put up every night. And do a load of laundry a night..
That's a good tip whiteness. I've been trying to do at least one thing a day to keep my house in order even if it's only a very small thing.
My aunt had this problem,, start it off with a clean sink..then work in sections of the house,,15 minuets a night before bed and before you know it..the house will be clean..reward your self after you clean a section..that's what we do in my house..but it all starts in the kitchen..make sure the dishes are clean and put away every night before bed..its this thing called the cleaning fairy. It really helps..get the family involved to..like before bed time have your baby pick up his toys and put then in a certain area. Have your hubby help you clean by picking up trash or putting clothes in the hamper. And do a small load of laundry a night to help maintain it better.just some thoughts,, hopefully this helps
Hire a live in cook/maid!!! Lol!!! Wouldn't that be nice. I was joking with my sister earlier that if I won the lottery that's what I'd do with it. Sad thing is its not like my house is so big that it's impossible to keep up with the housekeeping. Somehow I still manage to get behind and I feel like the smallest thing like putting away a load of laundry is the biggest accomplishment. I've never been all that on top of things when it comes to house work but the more pregnant I get the more behind I get.
