TMI but ive always had this question

Ive lived with my dad since i was around 11 so all the girl stuff but moms are supposed to teach us, i learn them on.my own. Anyway...
The question is, are you supposed to shave your private part before giving birth? Or is that something that girls normally do. Im so confused about this. Personally i do not shave. I did once and it wasnt a good experience so idk. Is there another way to remove those hairs lol >.< sorry tmi but i had to ask

Yes you should definitely keep yourself trimmed up most of the time, you don't have to be completely shaved for delivery either but keeping it trimmed wouldn't be bad.. lol it shouldn't be too itchy either, I don't get itchy atleast maybe try shaving downwards insted of up? Goodluck hunn!

I agree with Erica, just try an electic razor thats what I use because it gets waaaayy too itchy and I get ingrown hairs when I use a regular razor that can get pretty painful. The only time I use a razor is when I'm going to be wearing a bathing suit and even then I only do my bakini line. But the electic razor I have gets so close that it looks just like I used a regular razor. It just doesn't get itchy like when I use a regular one.

Yeah, it can get itchy. But it's worth it haha. Just put non scented lotion on after(scented can burn) and you should be fine! It's much better for you to do it yourself than have a nurse do it lol. That's just my opinion though.

Well you should know that if you don't shave it before birth, they will haha. And that's pretty awkward. I'd try to do it again. There's always waxing but it's not recommended during pregnancy.

Walmart sells an electric one for like 10-15$ and it will trim it up nice for you. I always just shave my bikini area and lips and trim the front. you don't need to shave but trimming would be good.

I'm not sure about natural but I had a csection and the nurse shaved where the bandage would go on the day.
