Diabetic type 1 pregnancy

I went for my 20 week sonogram, I am 24 yrs old a diabetic type 1 (juvenile), Anemic, and I have high blood pressure.  The doctor said that in the sonogram he is not able to see from the ribs down of my baby.  Right away he mentioned that something was wrong with the baby and as well with his/her spine.  My question is what to expect and as well the pros and cons.  Since he said nothing was wrong with the heart or head, I feel the baby is fine, but the doctor really worried me now.  I went for a 2nd consultation with another dr. and he told me that the position the baby is in, cant allow him to give an opinion since the baby's position doesn't allow him to see correctly.

It may be just how the baby was positioned. Hopefully that is why he couldn't see.  Are they going to send you for another ultrasound?  I hope so.  I will say a little prayer for you and your baby. Good luck
