TMI: swelling!

This is my 2nd pregnancy and with my first i didnt get swollen anywhere until my due date was slowly passing me up. Anyway this time i am noticing a little swelling jn legs and fingers..now the tmi part is..my vag is swollen. I know it's normal but its so much pressure i feel from it and its way swollen compared to when i was pregnant with my first. Any idea how to get it to calm down? My dr said it may be from sitting too long  (including the pressure from baby) BUT as i told her. .im pretty much always up so it cant be that. Maybe im up too much but hey i have a 1 yr old to take care of. Anyway i want to do something if anything to help it go down and feel better :/?

Oh no, sounds like you had it worse. My hub and i can be intimate but aftermath is it gets more swollen from all that. Its really uncomfortable having swollen vulva feeling like so much pressure :/ thanks though i will try that next time it gets to be too much

I went through the same thing. It was so swollen down there my husband and I couldn't be intimate for an entire 2 months. TMI but he couldn't get a finger in there THATS how bad it was, I was on the verge of tears. Nothing I did really helped except lube. Its just all the extra blood your body is producing now for the baby pumping down there. It went away like 2 months ago. I'm 39+5 weeks and now for the past 3 weeks or so I've been swelling up really bad from my legs, feet, and hand as well. My blood pressure was a little high last week so hopefully its not pre-eclampsia but just normal preggo side effects. For now it's just keeping those legs up in the air and drinking more water.
