I AM CURRENTLY 13+1 AND I AM SUPER CONSTIPATED. IT HAS BEEN ALMOST A WEEK SINCE MY LAST BM.. IS THIS NORMAL? SHOULD I.BE WORRIED? IS THERE NE THING I CAN TAKE? SHOULD I CALL THE DR. SORRY FOR FREAKIN JUST FTM AND NOT USED TO ANYTHING..

The pharmacy recomended a stool softner works for me , not right away but a few days or so

I was told stool softeners since it mainly stays in gut anyways. Increase water and fiber bars. I'm extremely constipated to at almost 12 wks.. I have a huge belly when i'm normally a small person. We think it's just gonna be a big baby lol. You might try the raisins and dried prunes. Hope you feel better:)

Eat plenty of fiber and drink plenty of water. Colace stool softner works as well

Warm water with lemon juice in the morning I have always had this problem and now that I'm prego that's the only thing I find that works

Milk of magnesia was a life saver in my first trimester. I highly recommend it. I would probably freak out if I didn't poop for a week, I bet you feel yucky.

I was constipated for a month straight. I got himroids. I had to take an inama. I spelled that wrong I'm sure. Or u can try warm gengerale and Apple juice. And always eat lots of green veggies.

It's very normal.  Make sure you are drinking plenty of water.  Increase your fruits and veggies (minus bananas).  Prune juice or dried prunes really helped me as well as a cup of coffee here and there.

I took stool softeners but they take a few days to work. Eating high fiver foods helps a lot and drinking hot coffee or prune nice or even apple juice can help.

It's normal! I'm 12 weeks and 5 days . Just drink some prune juice or eat a lot of fruit like grapes and stuff like that

I feel your pain. I was constipated for a lot longer. It made me really sick. I called a nurse and she told me to drink lots of prune juice, eat green foods, and stay away from rices and foods with flours etc, and to also take walks. But at the point i called i wasn't able to tolerate it anymore i was actually throwing up and getting sicker because i was constipated. She said try milk of magnesia. That helped for a bit. Now I am back to being constipated and its so miserable.

Thats a really long time..I know eating rasins help and I love the fiber one bars! Try those. I know some constipation is totally normal but a week not sure..

Try drinking some.warm prune juice...nasty I know but it works wonders....
