Pregnancy or fake positive??

Hi i am 4 days late and im normally regular to the day. So i took a clearblue test and very faintly i got what looks like a positive. What do you reckon??

It definately looks like a light positive to me.  But to be sure. wait about 3 days from the time you took this test and take another one. If you are in fact pregnant (and it's not just an evap line) then it should show up again and be a little darker this time.

faint positives always worry me, as it can mean you are preg, but just very early so the HCG hasnt buit up, or it can mean your miscarrying and the HCG levels are decreasing.

Lots of ppl will say a positive is a positive despite its intensisity, and there right it is, but it doesnt mean the pregnancy will stick.

Im speaking thru experience here, has 3 faint positives last oct and lost my baby ;-(

The only thing i can suggest is waiting a few days and test again with a sensitive test using FMU.

If you are preg and its going to stick, then the HCG levels will rise and you'll get a stronger positive in a few days. But if its MC then the test will pretty much come back NEG and you'll then bleed withn the next 2 weeks.

So, I see you have posted two different tests in different posts. If you are getting light positives on two tests then it looks like it isn't a false positive. I would wait a few days and check for a darker line like the other ladies have suggested too. It will just confirm that the baby is growing and staying with you. Stay positive and good luck!

no you dont ;-( you always are left wondering "what if"
but i have learnt to accept it now.
Hense why i never do an early test anymore as if its going to happen again, id rather not know as its too painful.

blue dye test are natoreus for false + or evap lines i would get a first response and use fmu good luck and let us know

The only time I had a really really faint positive it ended up being a chemical pregnancy and I started my period 6 days later.  I would say what the other ladies did and get a first response and test in a few days to make sure it gets darker.  Best of luck to you.
