Tanning

When do you need to stop tanning and what does it do to the baby? I am 5 weeks and 5 days.

Yeah if your talking about tanning beds you need to stop, pregnant women should not try to heat their stomachs any ways ESP through damaging UV rays that are in those beds as well as saunas, or the spas. Now if your talking about laying outside to tan that's a different story which is completely fine for you and baby just make sure to put on oil and never sit out long enough that you become very hot and also drink lots of water!!

If you still have warm good sun where you are then you can lay out. It is too cold here where I am but when I was still in Florida there were warm days though out winter between the cold ones.

I quit tanning as soon as I found out I was pregnant. My last doctor said it was safe but I personally dont think it is so I made the decision to stop tanning until after the baby is here and I am healed up enough to go again
