Sorry no piercings or tattoos while pregnant, many say not to while breastfeeding too but I got my nose pierced and 2 tattoos while breastfeeding. Wait until after you have your baby and go to someone reputable and make sure they use pre sterilized needles and tips. Dont be afraid to ask first and ask to see what they are doing and using on you. I'm just getting into tattooing so I'm going through the sanitizing/sterilizing side of things :P

Yes, your higher risk for infection because your body won't heal as fast as it should. Same with piercings. I actually got my sleeve on my arm finished, but I didn't know I was pregnant it was early on in the pregnancy. But thankfully I healed fast and no infections. I finally told my doctor about it and she said everything will be fine. I am not 17wks and 3 days and everything is perfectly fine. I would definitely hold off on getting it done.

Most if not all tattoo shop will not tattoo on a pregnant woman.  I would not risk it, its not a necessity.
