spotting and cramping

So im 8weeks pregnant today with my second child and yesterday while using the restroom and wiping i noticed a small amoung of bright red blood on the tissue.. it was not enough to change the color of my urine.. i would call it "spotting" i guess.. later that day, same thing happened. Today, everytime i use the bathroom i noticed it and now i have slight cramping.. not extremely painful but enough to be a little uncomfortable.. ive googled the issue but have seen so many different results im not sure to be concerned or not..with my first child i experienced spotting but only lasted a day. ive heard spotting is normal.. cramping is not serious.. its the second day of spotting... what do i do?

That happened to me when I was 8 weeks but it started off that way then to a light period. I ended up going to the er because of bleeding and cramping. Found out I had a blood clot in my uterus. If the bleeding gets heavier or cramping gets worse see your dr. Some people automatically put bleeding with miscarriage but thats not always the case. Im 12 wks pregnant now and heard my babys heart beat for the first time. Very healthy. Best of luck(:
