I have the same thing...I always get a little worried, but almost everyone that I talked to told me it was normal...I get them when I have to pee really bad too. I'm only about 7.5 weeks and I already don't like the feeling of pressure on my stomach...I had to buy a bunch of new looser pants....
That sharp pain happens because something as forceful as a cough or sneeze over-stretches the ligaments supporting your uterus.
As for the tender tummy, pregnant women DO NOT LIKE their bellies to be smashed, smooshed, pushed on, etc. It's just a sensation no pregnant woman likes. That's why we have those nice maternity pants that are loose so as not to put too much pressure on the abdomen. You're NORMAL!
I'm sure many many wierd things will happen throughout this pregnancy, I have people tell me all the time, just wait till later and you'll realize just how many wierd things really happen.. I guess I'm just a little over worried because I had a miscarriage before.. and am scared of having another one.. I never thought I'd be wanting or happy to see a dr and I'm counting down the days till my next appointment.. I just wish I could relax a little more for mine and my baby's sake..
Your body is going to feel and do so many weird things over the next 6 mo it's unbelievable! Anytime I felt something weird or different I just wrote everything down and took the questions to my doc appt's so I didnt forget to ask. Wait until it feels like the baby is sticking it's fingers out your butthole! That was fun...:0)
ME TOOOOO!!! I thought I was the only one...about the sneezing and coughing I get a sharp pain that comes from the middle and straight down to the point where I can feel the pain where I've never felt pain before...lol...I dunno why that happens but it scares the s**t outta me...I'm scared to sneeze or cough because of that. As for the tender part I think that's normal...my stomach was a bit tender too, and my doctor said it was normal, because now you have a life growing inside of you so your stomach is gonna feel different...
