Water leaking or discharge?

This morning I went pee and came back to the bedroom. Well once I got back to the bedroom my shorts felt damp, so I was like "okay maybe I wasn't done peeing" well I went in to the bathroom and both my undies and shorts were damp; not wet and not soaked but damp. I decided to put toilet paper in my undies and check back on it in a bit. I just checked and the toilet paper is a little damp but not wet or soaked. I decoded to smell the toilet paper to see if it smells of urine and it didn't but it did have a weird smell to it. I'm not sure if it's my amniotic fluid or if it is discharge. It has no obvious color and I'm not having contractions or none that I am
Aware of. My mom said she didn't feel contractions either when her water was leaking.. So I'm unsure what to think. I'll be embarrassed going to the hospital if it's only discharge :(

Well I haven't gone to the doctors. I put toilet paper in my undies and it wasn't damp 6hours later so I am assuming it's discharge as I've read that discharge increases around this time.

i was about 30 weeks with my DD when i kept getting damp undies as well so i went to the hospital and they do a test to test if it amniotic fluid, if it is it will smell sweet i was told. well i was lucky at that time it wasn't. The weird thing is when i gave birth and they tried to break my water they discovered that i had a slow leak from early on because there was no water to break, i know what it feels like when your water breaks and there was nothing. They said i was lucky i was in labor because there was nothing surrounding my baby and she could of been in distress. So just go to the hospital it could be nothing but you never know. Good luck
