The Recalled Formula issue..

So today I just received a letter in the mail from Sams club saying I had purchased recalled formula there. I think Ok no prob. It's just bug parts. I can deal with bug parts. Extra protein right? lol Anyways.... I couldn't remember buying this formula there.. Then it hit me. I remembered.... I bought it almost 2 mos ago... lol ...It was ingested a very long time ago..  I wonder how the bug parts tasted? lol ... Ok I know this recall is a serious thing... but there's really nothing I can do about it now so I just had to have some humor with it.

yeah i was using the isomil soy then switched to the sensitive..every product at one time in its life will go thru a recall...thats\ just the way things go.. i'm looking at the recall this way...at least its bugs and not something worse. At least no one will die or get too sick. It could be so much worse than it is. Gotta pick the lesser of the evils and id rather have bugs than anything else, like the melamine in that one formula recall...

I still use Similac Sensitive personally when we need to supplement. So many things get recalled, and if we stop using them all I don't think there would be anything left. (this is just me though)

I suppose it is possible. I don't know. I bought it 2 mos ago and the formula was consumed a few days after that. I don't have the container to check it out.

I"m stuck with Similac due to WIC. Similac is the only brand WIC has.. its hard trying to find formula that hasn't been recalled.

It's possible yours wasn't part of the recall though. I would imagine that they sent the notice out to every customer they have just to cover themselves and let people know.
