The nerve of some people

I just had a customer tell me that I was an idiot for getting pregnant when the "world is going to end" on Dec 21st. Which I already hear about it on TV on various Discovery or Nat Geo channels (I like watching their shows so the commercials are inevitable). And then as I work in a gas station I see the ads from Marlboro about a party they are having for Dec 21st.

Is anyone going to get the hell over the hype before I go nuts believing that my kids wont survive past childhood?

Ive just known about it. lol. Its a proven historical fact lol. When the Mayans made the calendar for us, they didnt know we would decide to make "Leap years" So since history changed everything with us making "Leap Years" It would have set back the Mayan Calendar to July 21st 2012.

Thank God for Leap Years! lol

Thank u cause I didn't want no one to take it that way...do u all remember when everyone freaked out about 2000? Then a year or so back the same thing happened and the stores were all raided of bread and can goods...I find it funny but u know I guess I will be the one like the boy who cries wolf...left helpless when it does happen with no food or shelter. Hope not though.

The world wont be ending December 21st due to the fact the Mayans said this all before Daylight Savings was founded...so, That would have put the world to an end back in July.

Ugh I know what you mean! My due date is Dec 21 and people flip when I tell them that now I just say Xmas time so people won't immediately start referring to "doomsday"

Ugh omg. I can't believe don't people believe in that. It's so ridiculous. Some people literally worship it. I'm due dec 12 so either way my little man will be here and i will be up laughing my a$$ off at everyone who spent the last few years "preparing" for it. At least it's not us and we know how to enjoy life!

I don't really believe those type things because they have been predicted sooo much and I have my religion that God only knows..(i will never push religion so please don't take that personal and I am open to hear anyone else's beliefs I find some very interesting) but who knows one day someone may be right but I just don't freak out.
