Labor was horrible for me, I had back labor and I thought my back was going to shatter into a million pieces during every contraction. I lost alot of blood, I ended up needing an oxygen mask because i was soo weak to push. but everyone is different, good luck.

Mine was like lowet back pain. But it wasn't that bad. Crowning hurt more then contractions for me. But I actually love thinking about my labor. It was awesome. I had a home water birth

Nothing like what they told me it would feel like.  Lol I was just like you with my first looking it up on google and asking other moms, they all said like menstrual cramps only 10 times worse... That sounded awful since they were pretty bad. Well when I went into labor it didn't feel like that at all I cramped but nothing like during the time of the month so for a bit I was in labor denial. Lol! My mom had to keep reassuring me that I was definitely in labor. So yes everyone is different and even though the vast majority of women say it feels like menstrual cramps I say when you really feel something the best way to know is to time it. Good luck!
