I wont itch. I rub instead because I'm terrified of the scratching myth being true! Lol
I rub too but I use palmers lotion that's for stretch marks and it works my sister used it and she don't have any after giving birth
Also keep in mind that every pregnancy is different. What works for one woman may not work for another.
I've been using cocoa butter since about 8 weeks, and I have stretch marks all over my stomach lol it didn't really work for me. But I also itched the most on my stomach.
Yes that is true everyone is different
I hate to admit... but I've been Itching like crazy!!! I can't help It, It's like a dang mosquito bite!!!! But luckily, with all the lotion and body oil... I'm stretch mark free... for now...
ya i also heard..almost every pregnant women i knows says that to me..they also said that if you to itch use a wet cotton cloth..
I lightly slapped/ tapped my belly... & yes DON'T itch!

I never heard that b4.. i had an itchy rash all over my belly and got loads of stretch marks... i havnt had any rashes this time around but still got a few more stretch marks on top of bump.... hmm. it may be true a bit
Ahh!!! Nobody ever gives me plain simple very important advice like this! I had no idea scratching lead to stretch marks... And I've been scratching my boobs sooooo much and my tummy lately! I have palmers cocoa butter I think it's called tummy butter but I hardly use it cuz I hate feeling cold and sticky after ahhhhhhh stretch marks pooping on the table ripping to my butt hole n gross nipples are my biggest fears!!! Yucky!!
I clawed the crap out of my stomach during my first pregnancy and I have NO stretch marks. You get stretch marks but literally stretching your skin to the max. If you are already "overweight" you will most likely get them. My doctor said because I am small and if I stay within the recommended weight gain, he doesn't believe I will get any at all during this pregnancy either... But keeping your belly and skin hydrated helps reduce risk(:
I use palmers stretch mark cream im not sure if its working because i already had stretchmarks on my butt breast arms and sides from weight gain and loss and gain and loss lol but i dont ses any new ones besides the ones on my sides look a little longer but i cant tell too much because of my tattoos
I scratched my stomach a lot when i was pregnant and I only got stretch marks on ny butt n hips so I dnt think thats true
Everyon is different sometimes.you cannot avoid stretch marks, I use baby oil during my showers. I have scratched anytime I itch, bot just my tummy, but ny brests as well, and I have no stretchmarks
Stretchmarks are determined by genetics only in my opinion

Basically stretch marks are there because you skin gets really badly stretched during pregnancy.. when we scratch on top of it we dont realise we are breaking skin as well.. similar very heavy weight people scratch themselves they get them because well skin is all loosen up and they start to look ugly.. when i was really fat i use to have them on my arms, breasts, stomach everywhere.. when i lost weight and lost some loosen skin they started disappearing only left with ones which were very deap (i have long nails)... similarly my mum use to tell me not to scratch during periods because skin becomes way sensitive.. when baby is born then we will see how many marks we got lol
Palmers mmm smells soo good just wish it actually prevented stretch marks haha... or got rid of them haha... but still i love smelling of it mmm
