Hi
I wanted to wish you luck in your baby making, I have been off the Aviane for 3 weeks today, I took mine contiuously for about 6 months meaning on the days I was suppose to take the reminder pills I started a new pack so I would not get a period. Well here I have been off for 3 weeks still no period or with draw bleeding, I did spot very little here and there for two days, not even  enough to where a pany liner. So I am still waiting to have a period, so we can get to our baby making, or at least trien. My doctor told me it could take up to 6 weeks to get back on track, maybe longer depends on the person. I stopped my pills 4 days before I was going to start a new pack. Keep postive thoughts. Christy

I stopped birth control in the middle of my pack in March...I had a withdrawal bleed four days later and four weeks later I finally got my period, it's now September and my periods are starting to get normal again now, all of this is to tell you my experience after birth control, and to let you know it may take a while for your body to get back in sync with itself. I was on Aviane and it's a combination pill, I don't know what you were on, but the combination pills are like super birth control. I tried to get pregnant for three months after, and I didn't. We're waiting until Nov/Dec now, but just because I didn't, doesn't mean you won't. Some women get pregnant the month after they get off birth control, and for others it takes a while. Keep in mind that for a healthy couple it can take up to a year. Good luck!!!
