Passing Tissue
I have brown spotting, but I also just noticed some small brown "chunks" in the toilet bowl after I urinate. When they speak of passing tissue, how do you know that is what it is? What do you do if you think you might be having a miscarriage and your Dr is out of the office for two days? ...Also, when I say brown I mean very light brown.

Just got back from the ER...5 1/2 hours later. Everything looks good. She did see some light bleeding, but nothing to be concerned about. HCG levels looked good and they did a trans vag u/s. We did not get to the see the HB, but from the size of the sac she thinks I am not as far along as we may have thought. For now our spirits our high. Thanks for all of your concern.

Just as Njeosys said, brown blood is old blood. If you've ever passed tissue while on your period, this could have been old tissue. What exactly did it look like? Were/are you in pain?? How big were they?
I really suggest you be seen by a doctor. Hope all is well. Good luck.

Brown blood is old blood and the tissue is probably left over tissue that the uterus does not need. However, that is my opinion. You need to go to the ER and have them check it out. Do not take a risk and wait for tomorrow. Please go be seen now.

its fine. im not sure what the tissue looks like, i had a d and c done. but really id try to go to the er just to make sure.
9 wks. I had also posted about brown spotting. Sorry for the multiple posts. New to these boards.
