So last night I started having contractions around 12:15pm. I started to time them and they were averaging 40 sec long and 3-4 min apart. They were pretty painful, not excruciating but enough that I had to breathe through them. This went on till about 1:30pm and slowly stopped...

No contractions completely stopped around 2am if I was in labor wouldn't they have kept going? Everything feels normal today just a little crappy. I have my 38 week check up tomorrow

It was just a false alarm, but that means you are getting close to the real thing

Thanks! Hopefully my doc tells me I've dilated more tomorrow. So far I haven't gotten past 1cm
