Any update? I just saw this BUT I would have called my ob and seen what they recommended...Hopefully all is well!
I also agree about the placenta being a concern rather than the baby itself.
I would likely go in and get yourself and your daughter checked out. You are probably both fine, but I would rather be safe than sorry, you know?!
Good luck!
i would call your doctor and see what he says. I have called my doctor after hours. The answering service will determine whether or not to put the call through to him.
When i was around pregnant i got kicked in the stomach pretty hard by accident. I was a little further along than you. A little boy was flying down a slide with his feet out and i was standing next to it. I called my OB right away to see if he wanted to see me. He said that the baby is so protected in there that he wasn't worried. And I have an extremely cautious OB (ultrasounds at every visit, he's sent me to several different specialists because of various concerns, etc...).
Of course, if you are worried then you can always choose to go in and be seen regardless of what your doctor says.
yep, don't even think about it, just go. bby's surrounded by a nice buffer of fluid and i'm sure will be fine but you do have to have it checked out to be on the safe side. best of luck and let us know
SCARY!!! WOW!!
Yes, I'd go get checked out. And I hope your daughter doesn't get a headache :( Poor thing. I hope your doing okay too.
I would definitely get everything checked out!
I would also go get checked out, even if the baby is moving around. A lot of times doctors are more worried about the placenta detaching from the sudden jolt than the baby actually being hurt since the baby is still so cushioned.
If it were me, I would probably want to get checked out, onsidering you fell on your belly. It's always better to be on the safe side, right? If anything, it will just ease your mind. I'm glad your daughter seems okay. That is scary!!
If i were in the situation I would go, But i was overly cautious about everything. For me I would rather be safe than sorry, you might want to have your daughter checked out too just to rule out concussion... just a thought, but if it were me I would go in.
