Too small?

Okay, so this is my first pregnancy, but I seriously think I'm way too small. I'm 5'4 and my pre-preggo weight was 115, but I'm 28 weeks five days and I've only gained ten lbs and I measure only around 14 cms. Anybody else have this problem and do you think any problems will arise from it such as premature birth or something?

I'm 5'4 and my pre pregnancy weight was 98 lbs (102 with my second) and I delivered vaginally both times. My sister is exactly 5 foot and weighted 89 lbs when she got pregnant and has also delivered vaginally both times. One of my friends is 5'1 and 93 lbs and delivered a 9 lb baby boy. No joke. It doesn't matter how big you are since your body WILL adjust. It just matters that your public bone is wide enough. If they think that its not the doctors will let you know.

Don't feel bad...I'm just now turning 26+2... And at first I was only gaining 3 pounds every three weeks ..I had only gained 11 pounds over the whole five...but due to having to be on bed rest I put on seven more pounds lol...so now I weigh 127......it doesn't show anywhere because I'm still really small and fitting into all my pre pregnancy clothes....I look all of four months :/......I'm dude October.16..... But I have a feeling she's going to come earlier lol

Hi I have always measured really small too, with my previous pregnancy I was sent for a scan as they were worried about my size, she was 6lb 15, with this 1, I'm measuring a week and six days behind, I'm 30 wks. I'm 5'5" and slim. I feel like most of the weight has gone to my hips and back! Lol. I guess some of us are just good at hiding it! With my previous 2 I was 10 days late so I don't think being small necessarily means your baby will be premature. Good luck

I am the same as you! Exactly :) i was told to expect to deliver early but only because my uterus and baby are growing at different rates. i wouldnt worry much about it. the doctors will be able to let you know what to look out for and how your baby is growing. i know women way smaller than me who pushed out 9-10 lbs babies.
