Traveling while pregnant?

I might be having to travel out of state this week and I was wondering if anyone could answer a question. I had a subcronic bleed at 10w3d and I am now 14w5d and the bleeding is on and nothing showed on the last u/s. What are the odds when I call my Dr on monday that he will tell me I can't travel?

Airlines won't let women fly after a certain point in the pregnancy because of the risk of you going into labor on the airplane and there's nothing they can do until they land.

But I drove with my fiance and his father from Springfield, Massachusetts all the way to Tyler, Texas at 32 weeks, and I was perfectly fine.
I saw my old doctor a few days before I left though just to make sure everything was okay and safe to go.

You should be perfectly fine. I would consult your doc first howeber because they can answer your questions a lot more accuratley(sp) then we can on the forum. I traveled from WA state to Iowa when I was 8-9 weeks and did fine. The from Iowa to MI at 12-14 weeks. Then We went back to iowa when I was 24 or 26 weeks and back to MI. Then at 32-34 weeks I had to make an emergancy trip to Florida and did well, even with hurricanes in the area.

My doc said to make sure I got up to stretch often to keep from swelling, and to drink plenty of fluids. He gave me his pager number and cell phone number incase I needed it. He also had me to a map quest of hospitals in every town we passed incase something were to happen and I needed emergancy care.

We drove with all our traveling, I refuse to fly lol

Flying or driving?  I flew at 6/7weeks and was fine. There's a gal on here that is a flight attendant that flew while she was pregnant.  Just stay hydrated and you should be fine.

Pretty much 0. Subchorionic bleeds heal on their own there isn't really anything that you do to make them worse or better. Most doctors dont even do bed rest when people have them. You should be fine to travel.
