We took my daughter when she was 14 months and she had fun...we left when she started getting cranky. I have to suggest that you bring lots of hand sanitizer...everyone wanted to touch her and hand her things since she was so little so every time we left a house I soaked her hands in sanitizer, lol. We're not taking the kids this year (2yrs and 3 1/2 months) because DH and I are sick...and when I asked Kahlan if she wanted to go with her cousin she said no, wanna movie and co-corn. Which means she wants to sit at home and watch a movie with some popcorn...so we're watching scooby doo in our costumes, lol.
We took my 16 month old to a fall festival at a nearby park. There were tons of people in costumes and activities to do, face painting and a hayride. It was really fun for her!
She can still collect the candy. She prob wont even really know its candy (my daughter didn't ) When mine was that little, she dressed up, collected candy & had fun putting it in & out of the bucket. Just watch to make sure it doesn't really go in the little ones mouth.
After a while, the bucket & candy can just "dissapear"
I just took my son to see relitives with his costume on
I would take them door-to-door. Maybe just to a couple of houses...Last night at my parents house, there were several children/babies, I handed candy out to. They were maybe 6 to 10 months old, just to cute
Well back in 2004 when it was my older sons first halloween he was almost 10 months. I did not take him door to door because the local mall had trick or treating. In 2007 when it was my younger sons first he was 7 months and we also did the mall then as well. Now they are 6 and 3 we will be going around our apartment complex at night and mall during the day.
