True labor contractions.

Are they always in your back and front or can they just be in the front? My mom and many other women explain them to start in your back then radiate to your front. Is this always true or, could they be only in front or just in your back? I'm just curious because I've tightening and cramping/burning pains in my back and also my front, but never together. They aren't consistent and barely get stronger, I'm just trying to prepare myself. Lol

This is my third pregnancy and with my previous two my contractions started on my back and when they were getting stronger I started feeling them in the front..

I didn't feel mine in my back all of mine was in the front and it hurt!! It was seriously the worst pain I've been in ever. I honestly would say the contractions hurt worse than pushing IMO.

So is back labor only in your back and not in your front, or are usual contractions only in the front?? I'm confused. Lol I've heard of back labor, but what exactly are the contractions like?

It's different for everyone.... I had back labor with my first baby.... Before my contractions got strong it was like mild stomach cramps....

I'm pretty sure not everyone has back labor.
