Trying again after miscarriage...

So it has been a year since we last tried for our first baby, unfortunately it ended in miscarriage at 12 weeks. I am so nervous about it happening again, and obviously I know there is nothing I can do to prevent another miscarriage. We started trying again this past week, and it was very easy for us to get pregnant last time so I'm assuming it will be pretty easy this time. But, ever since my D&C, my periods have been abnormal and wierdly spaced apart. Did anybody else have problems getting pregnant after miscarriage?

Thank you for your response, I'll keep that in mind. I hope it happens for us, it was very disappointing the last time because we had just announced the pregnancy, but this time we will wait until the 2nd trimester, just to be safe. I think my mom was more heartbroken than we were.

I did. I had a regular period but didn't ovulate like normal. I would just have fun trying! If you still have no luck after a year your supposed to go get checked. Some docs will put you on bc to try to get your period regular. Good luck hun! Sorry for your loss. I had two mc so I know your pain.
