scared of a missed miscarriage

Hi i know i sound silly but im terrified iv had a missed miscarriage. A friend of mine had one found out at 12 weeks. Baby was dead but still inside her.
I had a scan at 6 weeks 6 days and there was a strong heartbeat. This was after id had severe pain+ bleeding. I have my 12 week scan next thursday and in so scared of what they will tell me. Almost all my symptons of pregnacy have gone and i am constantly getting pains in my lower tummy.
I just need some reasurance

Thanks for your help guys. Im probably just being silly. Iv seen a heartbeat and have been told all is well. But misscarriage is still fairly high. Dont think ill feel better till i see my baby again ( hopefully). It just seems like such a long wait.
I still have nausea but no sickness anymore and my boobs itch like crazy half the time also they have grown loads. I cant make my mind up if my tummy is growing or not some days it seems like it is others it doesnt.
The pains i get feel like a very strong bloating feeling but it doesnt hurt to touch my tummy its just inside.

I know exactly how you feel. I've had a chemical pregnancy before and didn't know I was pregnant until it was too late. This pregnancy I found out at 4 weeks and I'm now between 9 and 13 weeks with my first ultrasound tomorrow and missed miscarriage is my biggest fear. The only thing that's still keeping me slightly positive is the fact I'm still having some symptoms so hoping it's alright.

The lower pains in your stomach (I've been getting them too btw) are most likely due to growing and stretching as your uterus and the baby start to grow. It could also be due to a UTI - which is what is the cause of my pains. I know how you feel, but all you can do is pray and be hopeful that everything is okay.
