Thank you very much. Your answers are so hopefully, and thank you again :)
Congrats on the BFP!! Yes white discharge is normal and will increase through pregnancy some find wearing a panty liner helps.
I ended up using fiber pills in my first trimester when my constipation was the worst in my second and third trimesters I've had less of a problem.
As for cramping I've had that my entire pregnancy first it's the egg implanting then it is your uterus stretching and at the end it's your body preparing for labor. Just make sure you drink lots of water as lack of water can lead to increased cramping.
Congrats again I'm so happy for you :)
it's totally normal and will increase during your pregnancy.. and congratulations on your BFP
Thank you so very much. I haven't bleed at all and the discharge is only white no smell or color.
Sorry I see that you've been on the forum for awhile...I've been in and out over the past few months so I have missed some of our newer members, much to my dismay! Everything else still applies, LOL
Congrats!!! Welcome to our forum :).
First:: Yes, discharge is normal during pregnancy and as long as there is no significant change in color or smell it's really nothing to worry about. However, foul-smelling discharge with a strange color (dark yellow, brown, etc) with or without pain/itching is something you should call your doctor about.
Second:: Yes, mild cramps can be very normal in early pregnancy. As long as they don't intensify to the point of being unbearable and as long as they aren't accompanied by heavy bleeding (light spotting can be normal) then they are nothing to worry about for the most part, but you can always ask your doctor when in doubt.
Last:: It may come and go your entire pregnancy. The key is to eat a lot of food with fiber, drink a LOT of water, and I actually found Activia yogurt to be helpful during both of my pregnancies; I was never constipated or had diarrhea because I was very careful about it. There are several stool softeners that can help with the discomfort that are safe during pregnancy but you should call your doctor and ask before taking anything, or call your local pharmacist and ask if there's a brand of stool softener that they consider safe for pregnant women.
Please feel more than free to come here and ask ANY thing, ANY time. We are here to help you using our experiences and knowledge, and while none of us on this community are doctors we are all in different stages of the pregnancy journey. Some of us are trying to conceive first, second, third etc children...some of us have just had babies...some of us are currently pregnant...and some people come on here who are done having babies and take time out of their lives to help people who have questions out of the kindness of their heart.
This is a wonderful community and when I first joined, I realized that I got more help from here than any baby book :).
Welcome again, and remember when in doubt ask your OB...but please stay and ask as many questions as you want..who knows, maybe someone will ask a question that you have the answer to as well! Congrats again :)
