I have been using Palmers Cocoa Butter, and i mean it has helped. The stretch marks i have are so tiny, so have to look up close to actually really tell they are there. Im just scared they are going to get super big. I will keep on my routine with Palmers Cocoa Butter and see about that oil that a few of you ladies mentioned. Thanks Ladies!!!
I'm like you my mother never got stretch marks either. And honestly it seems nothing helps with stretch marks at all. I was using Cocoa Butter and then Bio Oil but now nothing because I have a skin rash (PUPPP) :( and Bio Oil and other creams make it worst. I got it at around 24 weeks and it was ok and not that bad at first but then got bigger and in more places on my body now they are pretty much the same. I got none on my boobs and hopefully it stays that way.
I so know how you feel. I have always been terrified of getting stretch marks. That was one of the reasons I was kind of iffy on having kids. If that dont sound shallow, I dont know what does. But I have been battling tiny stretch marks on my boobs. YUCK!! It seems like as long as I keep that Palmers cocoa butter on them twice a day and really thick, then they kind of go away and you cant see them. But if I miss a day then they pop back up. I have been using a ton of of that lotion. I put it on really thick and let it slowly absorb. But I am hoping that I dont get any on my stomach as well. Keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck and maybe even try getting on of those bella band things. It might help to keep your stomach from having as much weight pulling on your skin. Just an idea.
My mum had stretch marks but my older sis dosen't i'm just a few days behind you and i'm hoping for the best. I have been rubbing my tummy with swiss collagen formula to help my tummy stretch without leaving marks, so far i can see any and i hope i scale through. Whatever i think the most important thing is to get your body back in shape after childbirth-lose the big tummy and tone your muscles. I know there are creams that make stretch marks invisible if not disappear completely, get a nice tan or something, believe me, ur hubby ain't gonna believe the new sexier, hotter, curvier you.
you are not alone i def feel the same way...call me shallow but i still want to feel attractive after i give birth. im 19 weeks and have been using a special cream called bump to bub hopefully this will work i also hear bio oil is supposed to help...have you used anything?? my mother didnt get stretch marks but i have a feeling that i will be different. Hope not thought...dont we go through enough??? good luck dont feel too bad hopefully they will stay small.
oh, no....i'm right there with you! i'm 30-31 weeks, and df had said a few times there was SM's, but i hadnt seen them at all....till LAST NIGHT!!! they aren't really deep, but oh they are soooo there!!! here i kept thinking oh i'm gonna get lucky....horsesh*t.....there's a few of them they go in this little *U* shape, underneath my belly, where it has started to flaten out, which i'm assuming is why i couldn't see them!
arrrrghggghhh!!!!!!!
Hugs! Wish I knew the right thing to say...I'm sure I will be just as upset when I get them too...I'm only 5 weeks so I'm quite a ways away but I feel for you!
