UTI and pregnant

so i have a urinary tract infection and i'm about 9 weeks pregnant, can this be harm to the baby??

you should be OK hon. just get the meds ASAP and take them as directed, as long as directed, and you should be fine...ask your OB if you're worried about what might've occured since you think you've had it for awhile...but most likely you had no symptoms because it's a new infection that they caught before it got too bad....but ask your doctor at your next appointment :)

ok, i have to get meds today that they prescribed, i'm just worried about how long i've had it because i dont have any sympotoms at all. i feel fine.

I agree with Nickie (as usual :) ). an untreated UTI can cause harm, but as long as it's been diagnosed and you are being treated by a doctor your baby should be just fine :).

Well I had a few UTIs with my last pregnancy and as long as you seek medical attention and get rid of it then there more than likely won't be any problems due to the UTI.
