Ultra sounds

How many ultra sounds did you ladies get because my cousin who is also pregnant has had about 4 already n I've only had 1 and I believe that's the only one I get is this normal or should I check into this

It depends on your doctor. I called around to find someone who gave more so I got one every appt but I switched to a midwife and they only give 2-3 but I've had 4 already so I'm fine with that because I love the midwife

I've only had one at 7 weeks. That's the only one I will receive. I will only get another one if complications arise.

My doctor has a machine in the office, so he does them every visit until you have your anatomy scan with the imaging center. I had one at 8,12, and 16 weeks with him. I paid for one at 14 weeks to find out the gender early. I had my anatomy scan at 19 weeks, as well as a follow up for a dilated kidney at 30 weeks and then a free 3D one at 27 weeks (if you do your anatomy scan with my hospital they do a free 3D). So I've seen my little man 7 times! My sister had an ultrasound at 12 weeks and 20 weeks only, which I believe is the norm.

I'll be 26 weeks and will get my third one next thurs,  only because the physician is monitoring a spot that they see in my babys heart.

2 and I'm 29 weeks. I was told I won't be getting another one because baby is healthy and I'm healthy so it's not necessary.

almost 28 weeks and I've had 3 but only because in the beginning I had a low lying placenta well up until 26 weeks they say it depends on the insuranceand also they say you only get so many if you have complications I would consider it a good thing that you haven't had to have multiple

I get them every 3 weeks. Im currently coming up for 25 weeks. But they are literally a 2 minute job to check the baby is ok then I'm sent on my way.

Only had 2 my entire first pregnancy. With this baby I'll have a lot more cause I'm high risk this time.

commonly it's only 2 unless your high risk then it's more. the only reason I m getting three is because my boyfriend was leaving fir boot camp and the doctor was really nice

I've already had about four and should be getting a few more. My midwife told me it's all about the insurance and they only pay for so many.
