Ultrasound Scan :)

hi ladies..so I'm 32 weeks today and I'm switching doctors since the one I have now is way to far and its kinda at this ghettoo hospital n I just don't feel like I'm gettin the best service I can for my first pregnancy..but thankfully I found a doctor that will take me in so I have an appointment Aug 3rd n ill be 33 weeks and the lady said they were gonna do an ultrasound n then I see the doctor. n I haven't had an ultrasound since my 20 week. so do you know what kinda ultrasound there gonna give me..is it a growth scan & can they tell me how much they think my baby weighs?? also how much was ur babys weighing around 33 weeks? :)

My boy weighed 6 pound at 33w & was born 9.5 pound the day before I was due!

Well I had a weight one done at 17+6 and the tech said about a half pound at that appt.. I havent had an ultrasound since so I have no idea what size my baby is and I was due yesterday. My dr said at 34 weeks he thought she would be about 8.5 lbs but that was just from feeling my belly I guess. Then again he is probably pretty close as he has delivered somewhere around 6 or 7 thousand babies!!! But they will probably just do an ultrasound to check size and make sure everything looks good since its the first time they are seeing you.

They should weigh in between 3.5 and 4.7 pounds

Really..cause they never told me how much he weighed :/ but hopefully my new doctor will n ill be sure to ask! Do u know how much he should weigh or how much ur babys weighed around 33 weeks?

They should tell you how much the baby weighs. I think they just want to see with their own eyes what's going.on with your  baby. I didn't have my growth scan til 37 weeks also. But at 23 weeks they still told me how much she weighed.

I'm just now having my weight scan this monday and I will be 37 weeks.... I did have a 4D ultra sound at 25 weeks
